When replacing bad logic board would it be a good idea to also replace the home button?

I guess logic boards and home buttons are are paired at the factory to make sure touch id will work.

For a DIY repair, if you want to retain TouchID functionality, you must get a matched set (Logic board & Home Button). Otherwise, only Apple can program a replacement home button.
