Updating firmware 4.1 to 4.3.3 error 1015!
Why when i try to update my iphone to 4.3.3 from 4.1 does it always get error 1015?? Im really sick and tired of this

Error 1015 is caused by apple recognizing you have non apple firmware... Jailbroken etc. You need to download a custom firm ware from felixbruin.de or similar and then right click on your iPhone icon in iTunes and select the custom firmware to restore... Don't click iTunes restore button!

Jared, remember a couple of questions back about the .ipsw ? Same situation here, pollytintop is getting you there. Just pay attention to the steps that you are getting. One at a time...;-)
I think you should go on YouTube...then it'll be with pictures etc, I learned from there as I couldn't understand all the forum advice... Everyone assumes you know what is meant!!! YouTube is great for showing rather than telling. A new guy here called shai is a mod on another software forum so maybe he'll pick this up too!

Make sure you are using the latest version of iTunes and if using a Mac, that OS is up to date. Also disconnect all other USB devices.

i have 10.3.1 which is the latest
