OWC Aura SSD isn't regonized (MacBook Air, 13-inch, 2017)

Hello!

I’m changing my SSD on my Macbook Air. I bought a 1tb from macsales ‘OWC Aura SSD’. But when I put it in it won’t regonize the SSD. My current version is High Sierra 10.12.6.

What can I do? I’ve been looking at enclosure to buy. But I don’t know which one to buy.

The drive has to be formatted before you can install a system. Did you also buy the Envoy Pro that goes with it?

If you have an external standard hard drive that is bootable, boot from it and use Disk Utilities to format it and then install a system.

I actually didn't buy the Envoy Pro. Can I use this ( https://www.avxperten.dk/harddisk-kabine... ) this one?

Do I keep the original SSD when using the bootable drive?
