battery won't charge after replacement

My phone won't charge past 1% after finishing the battery replacement. I carefully made sure all connectors were not bend and snapped back into place firmly and evenly including the battery connector. I have tried leaving it plugged in overnight as well as letting it discharge completely and then charging again. Did I get a bad replacement battery or is something else wrong? This is obviously very frustrating as my phone is now out of commission unless it is plugged in!

Answer this question I have this problem too

From my experience, this sounds like a bad battery you’ve received. If you have the original and it isn’t destroyed from removal, try to to plug that guy back in. If not, i recommend this supplier for great quality products:

I assumed that since I got it from ifixit, it would work!! But they still haven’t responded to my inquiry and I’m left without a working phone. ARGH!!

try the old battery, if that's the same issue then you have a damaged chip.
