Won't get passed start screen, factory reset fails (w/photo).

It fails to go passed the start up screen even when plugged in with an endlessly Voyeger Pro screen. It wont even tell them the level of battery when I plug it in with it off. I decided to try and factory reset using the Power + Volume Up button. I selected “Data Wipe/Factory Reset”. It started but then went on to say it failed.
