Within 15 Second PS3 Gose from Silent to Full Speed and No Display

Hi There!

I’m having an issue with my PS3 Phat (CECHK01) where within 15 second from starting up the console it goes from completely silent to full speed. While this is occurring i’m getting no display and 10 seconds after red and green light flashes. I’m assuming this is RLOD but i just want to make sure.

I think i may of found the issue, Heatsink threads which allow clamp to be inserted is completely stripped which is preventing good contact with RSX chip causing GLOD. I'm going to purchase either a broken PS3 or heatsink replacement and see if that fixes the issue, Going to report back in a few days or weeks.
