Screen working but black after replacing the battery.
I replaced my battery and now my phone screen is black, although it is working because it will vibrate when I attempt to put the password in and do so wrong. I do not see any type of dim background light. I admit I had difficulty getting the screen connections to snap in when finishing up, specifically the one that is inner most to the phone and covered by the other two. I do worry I was too rough with trying to snap it in- the other two feel like they snap but that one feels more like I just push it into place. I have redone the three snaps multiple times and can’t seem to fix this black screen issue, although I will say that for a split second the screen did turn on yesterday (it was my normal lock screen, no lines, discoloration, etc) while I was messing with it, only to turn off a second later. I could not repeat the occurrence to see why it worked, although I tried. During battery replacement, I did remove the screen and tried to be careful with the angle that I held the screen at while doing so. I was thinking perhaps I should try to buy a new screen and see if that works? I really hope I disn’t damage the inner connections but i’m worried I did. In that case, this would have to be a loss because i’m not skilled enough to repair that. :( Any ideas? Thank you.
Is this a good question?

Definitely sounds like the screen cable isn't correctly seated, the connector on the cable is damaged, and/or the connector on the mobo is damaged. Open it up, unseat them, examine them with a magnifying glass, and (if there's no damage) CAREFULLY reseat them again.

Still not "clicking" into place. It will sit in place but not do the typical clicking in that feels secure. I looked with a magnifying glass but do not see any noticible damage such as obviously bent prongs or anything on both ends.

Is there anywhere that could perhaps fix this if it were to require a new inside piece to get soldered in place? Would a screen repair location be apt to do that or not really?
