Permanent scratches underneath screen

Hi!

I have permanent scratches and imprints from my keyboard on my screen (see photo: in the centre, at top and at bottom). I have never pushed it, but it does seem to be caused by too much pressure. Is there anything I can do about this? As I am a photo-editor, it is very annoying to have permanent stripes on my screen.

Thank you!

Bring your system into an Apple Store or authorized service center. The anti-reflective coating on your display has failed. Apple has an extended warranty program for this (Free repair!). Otherwise you’ll need a new display assembly MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Display Assembly Ouch!

Thank you! However, I bought it refurbished. I will send them a message and hopefully they can help me fix it then...

Unfortunately the extended repair program for it is 4 years after the original purchase date, Even if you bought it used of someone else you still could have got it repaired in the time frame for free.

The coating is coming off the screen there is a hack way to fix it by removing all the coating just google it they use Listerine?

Okay, thank you! I will hear what the refurbished shop says (I do still have a warranty with them) and otherwise maybe try this solution.

I just sent one a few weeks ago and it was fixed!

Still worth the effort and even if they say no I would press it up the food chain. Be strong and firm don't get angry and be polite! Tuesday mid morning is the best time to visit them from my experience. In some countries the laws also protect you upto 5 years.

Okay great, I will definitely give it a try! Thanks for all the advice!
