Nicked battery during replacement. Keep?

Block Image

While installing a new battery for my MacBook I nicked the edge of one of the cells. This was done with a pushing force with the rounded end of a ballpoint pen (while attempting to adjust the plastic bar on the left) and not pierced if that makes a difference. It’s the edge of the cell that has been slightly revealed.

Any advice? Keep or dispose of? Any tests I can do?

Thanks,

Frank.

You should be fine. As long as it wasn’t pierced, there shouldn’t be a problem.
