MacBook Pro, hinge not working properly.

Action of opening and closing down the lid is not as smooth when it was new.

I think it’s wear and tear damage.

I don’t want to upgrade to newer model. I’m hopping if anyone can suggest what part do I need to replace to make it smooth again?

Also, which toolkit would it require to open and repair it? “iOpener” or “Pro Tech Toolkit”?

Thanks.

Left hinge is somewhat replaceable, right hinge cannot be replaced without destroying the screen assembly. Nobody seems to be able to remove the LCD from the lid intact.
