MacBook Air won’t turn on but charges

My girlfriends macbook broke and the 3rd party apple techs said it was the mother board. I did some investigation myself and saw no power coming in through the charger, so I bought a part online and replaced it. So far so good. It wouldn’t even light the charger up before, and now the charger lights up green then orange like it should. The first time I did it, the Macbook immediately turned on and I heard the boot up music. Now it won’t turn on. It’s still charging.

What can I do?

Here is the Solution you can try

When you do not use it for long time it is possible it may not boot. Try this

Open Air back panel—-> Disconnect Battery for 2 mins— > Try to turn on using power cord—>If gets turned on use it for 5 mins —->Then turned off and Connect the battery and try..

Let me know if it works
