Surface Book/Performance Base. Spilled drink, keyboard stopped working

Hello. I spilled coffee over my Surface Book with Performance Base keyboard. I immediately powered down the PC, dried, and allowed to dry for multiple days. Everything seems to be working fine, except the keyboard does not type. Mouse, keyboard lights, GPU, fans, USB, battery, power all seem to be working.

Question: Are there actions I can take to troubleshoot with out opening the device? If not, is there a way to replace the keyboard/parts inside the base? I have a second base model Surface Book I would be willing to part if that is an option.
