Does changing the battery also require us to change the screen?

I've been having battey charge drop problems. When I go to the Huawei service center they tell me that battery change will also require a screen change. (Without even checking my phone). They say that the battery comes with the screen. My screen is in perfect condition. Is it true that the battery change will also require a screen change?

@slot1gamer @jayeff Thank you guys. It sounded silly to me as well when they said that the battery and screen both have to be replaced.

Hi @alieffendi ,

Looking at the Huawei Mate 8 Battery Replacement guide, it is not necessary to remove or replace the display.

If you decide to replace the battery yourself, read the comments at the bottom of the guide for a tip that may be of some help.

No they are being dumb..

The battery is stuck to the mid frame with some double sided tape, this is a job a day 1 tech can do.
