New replacement battery not working

I put in the new battery and everything seemed to be ok. I attempted to power on the laptop and it died so I charged it for a while and powered it in again and it was fine acted like there were a few glitches but it was on. So I left it on the charger for a while. Now this morning I take it off the charger to use it and it completely powers off and will not turn on. Not sure what is going and why the laptop isn’t working properly if that battery is a genuine replacement. SOS!

Unless you had your battery replaced by Apple it’s most probably not original. Possibly a faulty battery but try installing Coconut battery https://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutb... for evaluation and if you want post a screenshot of data:
