TV switched itself off, now has continuous red flashing light

Hi, can anyone tell me if this can be fixed or if it needs binning?

Whilst watching TV one evening, my TV switched itself off. Since then, the standby light just flashes constantly without a pause. I've read tips about holding down power and + symbols etc…in plug and so on. Nothing has worked. I've taken the back off it but I'm clueless. Can anyone tell from the picture of something looks strange?

I can hear the power board make a noise when I press the power or channel up button but then it stops and nothing happens.
