Why is my 2015 Nissan Sentra SR RPM going up and down while driving?

While driving in the highway my car rpm started to go up and down. It mostly happen going up hills. While in city on a stop light the car did not want to accelerate and took several times before it did. Once stopped and tried to reverse it took several seconds to shift. Also, I do not have a check engine light.

Hi William,

It sounds like the Nissan's CVT (continuous variable transmission), or whatever is controlling it, is having issues. Check if it's under warranty, and bring it to a dealer/mechanic.
