coffee spill, MacBook Pro 13" early 2015 now very slow?

My macbook pro 13” early 2015 has coffee spill on the charging side. I turned it on and took back up. After holding power button for 5-8seconds only it would turn on. It is now very slow. I have windows dual boot installed

  1. I am planning to open it and clean it myself. Has anyone done this and did it solve for them?
  2. Are the tools shown in iFixit teardown enough for this procedure?
  3. Is it better to buy the iFixit pro tool set?
  4. Do I need to buy adhesive to stick the batteries like before?
  5. Can I upgrade my 8GB ram to 16gb? i am willing to do it myself. What is the ram that i need to buy?
  6. Are there good technicians in germany preferably in Darmstadt, Hessen region where they have done it before and are good at it?

Sadly you can’t upgrade the RAM in this system. If thats important to you, you can replace the logic board with one that has 16 GB of RAM. Review this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement Within the guide you’ll find the possible boards.

Replacing the logic board at this point side steps the need to clean it, but you’ll still need to clean the uppercase chassis of any spillage.

You might be able to do this your self, take the time to review the guide.
