MacBook Pro 13” Retina slow performance after water spill

Hello community!

All fans on Max , CPU usage 89% .

Hardware test error: 4sns/1/40000000: IOOR-1.658.

Mac book still charging, working but really slow. Apple technical suggestion to change motherboard . I noticed thunderbolt ports is really hot (my wife told the mint tea got there, not much).

I opened my system, I looked on it, nothing looking wrong.

Please any help! Thank you

The error code 4sns/1/40000000: IOOR-1.658 Tells us you have a sensor firing off (4SNS) and the error IOOR is telling us you have a current (I) flow that is exceeding what the sensor was expecting.

The one clue that helps here is you spilled the tea around the Thunderbolt port which tells me your circuitry at the ports is damaged on the main logic board. Here’s the IFIXIT guide for you to review on replacing the logic board MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2013 Logic Board Replacement

The connector its self is not repairable and not available as a loose part. There is a metal shield that covers the chip (the chip just behind the ports) Even if you where able to take the shield off other than cleaning the logic board of any spillage theres nothing more you can do.
