Sharp Aquos LC-37D43U Televsion
Hi I have a LC-37D43U tv. The power works with green light in front of the tv and the backlight, I think also work. What should I check if backlight does work. When I power the tv I see dots of light. When I turn on the power there is no picture but I have a glow. The audio also works well and can hear everything clear. The tv control, by pressing any function does not work. Also with the flashlight test, it does not show anything. I did open the back of the tv and would like to try to fix it myself before giving up and buying a new one. What should I do or try to verify as the problem?? Frank, do you still have this tv, it is an upgrade to an older version different model number. I have the same as you, can we work together?

I had a similar issue with my Sharp Aquos and determined that the tuner was blown.
I was able to bypass the tuner by connecting the signal through the AV jacks. Problem Solved.
