Oh, Now It has this appeared on the left ? will ask question again…could anyone please tell me how to actually connect this to motherboard as cannot seem to find slot ( Early 2008, 15 inch MacBook Pro )

Think Ah Say Ah think I fixed the little rascal .. you push in into the rectangular hole ... Now just have to tape over ... I restore/re-finish antique furniture. if anyone has any questions, would be more than happy to answer ... Happy healthy new year to all xoxo

Are you trying to re-attach the upper case to the logic board?

That’s a factory test plug, has nothing to do with the board running correctly.

Now what exactly are you trying to connect?
