Hi,

If you have Win 10 installed in your laptop (you don’t say what OS is installed) and you know anyone who owns a Win 10 computer, you can create a Win 10 recovery USB from any working Win 10 PC.

In the host Win 10 PC type Control Panel in the search box on the desktop to find the Control panel desktop app in the PC.

Then go to Control Panel > Recovery > Create a recovery drive

It takes about 40 -60 minutes to create and needs an 8GB USB flash drive.

When you have the recovery USB drive, insert the USB drive into the USB port of your laptop, start the laptop and change the boot order in your laptop to USB as the 1st boot option in BIOS (you may have to enable Legacy boot or CSM (depends on your BIOS what is there) for it to boot into the Windows Recovery Environment menu area.

Save the changes and exit from BIOS.

Restart the laptop, when it boots to the Windows Recovery Environment menu, Select Troubleshoot > Advanced > Startup Repair and follow the prompts.

Do not select the Reset this PC option as this will reinstall Windows and erase all your files and data if you happen to choose the wrong option.
