iPhone powers off randomly even after battery replacement

I recently replaced an iPhone 6s Plus Battery for shutting off randomly but it keeps doing the same thing as the old battery. What can I do?

There are a lot of poor quality batteries out there so ideally you need to use a known-good battery (the 6S and 6 Plus batteries are compatible) to help you determine if the issue is the battery or something else. It could be the charge port or the charge circuit on the logic board.

I got the battery from wholesalegadgetparts. Is there a way for me to test it if it’s charge port or charge circuit?

If you suspect the charge port, install a replacement charge port (overlay it, no need to do a full install). The same caveat applies in regards to known-good parts. If the battery and charge port don't solve the problem, then you have a logic board issue.

If you use a Mac, download and run Coconut Battery to see what your’s is doing.

Click on the iOS reading with the phone plugged into a USB port.
