Late 2013 iMac (27") screen hinge replacement

Does the iFixit forum have their own version of a full step-by-step guide to fixing the broken hinge issue with the late 2013 27” iMacs? I am not looking for a machack fix where you are required to fit an additional clamp between the screen and the stand. I would like to fix the hinge so that the tilt can operate as it should. But at the same time, I do not want to take it to Apple only to be charged an exorbitant price.

Thank you guys!

Take the foot stand off (nine screws) as well as the stand and then take the hinge its self off. The replacement hinge info: The Book Yard UK - Mac 27" Hinge/Clutch Mechanism (12/13) Apple P/N 923-00151

And just to add there is no need to replace the entire mechanism, the issue is caused by the rubbish plastic washers that secure the end of the spring mechanism. You can replace these with metal ones to fix the issue and prevent it recurring.
