Stuck up in Apple Logo with progress bar during restore.

Excuse me for my english. I have Ipad mini A1432. Before, it just work fine and suddenly ipad mini won’t power on totally dead. Black screen not even show the empty battery icon. I tried many different chargers by any means but no luck.

I tried to restore it in itunes. Itunes recognized the ipad mini in a recovery mode status. I try to restore and update IOS 9.3.5 it proceed with extraction and installation but stuck up in the “waiting the response from the iphone” message and still the ipad mini remained in a black screen no display.

I tried many diff. solution on the net. the power and home button, cleaning of the charging port. the DFU mode the. Dr. Fone system repair all of them doesn’t work.

So I decided to replaced with a brand new battery. Excited I try to push the power button but nothing happen. I charged the ipad mini but the same i dont see the empty battery icon.

Then again I connect it to Itunes and still recognized it in a recovery mode. I proceed to restore and luckily Apple Logo appear with progress bar but no progress activity in the bar and the message in itunes are the same before “ waiting for iphone” and stuck up for and hour. I decided to repeat the process even in Dr, Fone and 3U Tools but the same results. Apple Logo pops up and stuck.

I don’t believe you have a battery issue as iTunes does recognize the device so that means it is powering on. If the device is stuck in DFU mode, the screen will be completely black. You could try different tools to get the device out of DFU mode, such as ReiBoot. Dr Fone or 3uTools should do this as well.

However, if that doesn’t work, then there is probably a problem on the logic board that is causing the device to go into Recovery mode.

ah. this is the time you should be considering to switch to a new iPad. the logic board probably has some problems. if you post a picture I may be able to help you a little more.

if you upgrade, go to https://www.apple.com/shop/trade-in and see how much it gives you to recycle it.
