Could you post a picture of the computer? Some people on this site can usualy identify a mac just by looking at it.

Here is a link to a guide to help you identify your computer. Another place to try since we aren't sure which computer you have would be under the keyboard or under the battery. As to ordering parts if you contact iFixit they will help you determine the correct parts for you. Good luck.

If you're able to boot your machine and go to the internet, just fellow these steps:

Go to the Apple menu (upper left of the screen)

Click on "About this Mac..."

Click on "More infos..."

At the right of the next screen click on "Hardware"

You will then see your machine serial number next to "Serial number"

write down the last 3 digits of the serial if the serial has eleven character

or the last 4 digits if the serial number has twelve character.

In your browser go to:

http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-loo...

Type the 3 or 4 digits in the Lookup field and click on the Lookup button.

You should see the complete specs of your machine.
