No True Tone option after back glass replacement

Hi guys. I have already seen a forum with a similar title, my situation is a tad bit different though. I recently took my 8 plus in for repairs through my insurance company as the back glass shattered and i got it back today. Now i realized there is no true tone option anymore. My problem is that i can’t really remember if my phone didn’t have a true tone option prior to the repairs or if the option got removed after the repairs. If the back glass was replaced, why would it affect the display and true tone? My only other idea is that iOS12 is responsible. I just need some help. If anyone can tell me if the back glass being replaced could have an effect on the display? Or do i have nothing to worry about and wait for Apple to roll out a fix?

Thanks!

It’s a known bug in iOS 12. Sometimes it’s there, sometimes it’s not.
