TV has bad horizontal lines and flickering image, help!

I recently was given a free Phillip's t.v. , model #: 55pfl5402/f7. I got it for free because the screen was flickering, but boy is it flickering. The whole screen flickers in and out with with black and white lines. Image is stable for maybe a second but not long. TV is a smart tv and connects to internet, loads up apps and everything. Seems like the only problem is the screen/lcd.

Could anyone point me in the right direction as far as what to check/fix?

Ashley Self  we really would need to see what it looks like. It could be an issue with the T-con board or the main board. See if you can post some images or short video about what this looks like. Adding images to an existing question

This could be a panel issue (bad gate drivers) as well. The large vertical lines are possibly a bad main/T-con board. This is going to be a tough one and I'd try a main board first

Ashley, did you find the solution? I have the same problem. I don't want to buy multiple parts if you can guide me. Was the main board or t connector? Thanks!
