This isn’t my exact model, but I have one that is extremely similar. When I plug the TV in, it it immediately tries turning on, the standby light blinks and the backlight kicks on, changes the brightness a couple times, then turns off. This cycle repeats indefinitely, without pressing a power button on either the TV or remote.

Cody Mort we will need to know your exact model number. If it turns on when you plug it is then it is most likely the button bar/IR board or the power board. Remove the back of your TV and take a good look at all the boards. Check for obviously damaged components like leaking/domed looking capacitors and IC’s that are partially melted etc. Post some pictures of your boards with your question so that we can see what you see.
