How do we restart our freezer after a power outage? Kenmore 253.280998

We came home and the Door Ajar and Power Failure lights were on. We checked the plug and it was properly inserted, but the indoor light was burned out. Instead of a temperature rating it said 1hour. Any Suggestions? Please hurry, the freezer is full!

Unplug it for five minutes and plug it back in to allow it to reset.

The electricity went off two nights ago and didn't come on when I checked it , it was not on this morning. Everything else came back on yesterday and I didn't check it. I unplugged it for 5 minutes and then plugged it back in and nothing happened. What do I do now?

I unplugged it again and replugged and nothing happened.

What is the make and model number of the freezer?

If it has a light in the compartment, is that working?
