sandy brace, I think this would be a question that everyone has to answer for themselves. a lot of it has to do with your own personal taste. I like the older ones because I believe that they have a better sound, others like the new ones because of the apps etc. Just go and check at the apple store or any other retailer and see what you like, than you would get something that is best to you.
