PC Can't see iPod after an SSD memory upgrade

I installed the ZIF dual slot memory adapter with two 250gb SSDs, into my 7th generation ipod, but now the pc won’t see the ipod. The screen just shows the apple logo and keeps re-seting over and over again after about 5 - 10 seconds.

I tried resetting the device (holding down the menu and center button), but that didn’t resolve the issue

When I plug it into my pc, the PC doesn’t see the device. I used Aomei software to see if it would see the disk, but it doesn’t see the device either.

I tried re-seating the cable on the ssd card and that didn’t make a difference.

Not sure what else to try.

I’m open to suggestion.

Thanks,

Max

Thanks for the suggestion. It turned out to be a bad SSD card.
