The power fully turns off if I move too much, usually if I put a bit too much pressure on the back of the case. Whenever this reset occurs the date goes back to January 1st 2011 at midnight, as if it’s fully reset, hope someone can help.
(had this problem for 4 years and lost receipt so I’ve just not really used my ds)

Hi!
Sounds like a loose connection to the motherboard or like a faulty motherboard to me. Try tearing the console apart until all connections to the board are separated, as shown in this guide. Then put everything back together and see if it works. Otherwise replace the motherboard.
