New screen automatically dimming with movement and very positional.

I have replaced the screen on my MBP. Lately, the screen will automatically dim to the lowest setting with any movement of my laptop. Unless the screen is place in a VERY specific place (opened to about 110 degrees) the screen will stay dim. I have to hold my F1/dim key down for a few seconds and then press the F2/brighten key to illuminate the screen.

My question: Is this a faulty screen or loose/pinched wiring from the replacement process.

The cause of the problem was in fact a pinched wire leading from the screen.
