How do I do a factory reset on my Palm Vx

It does not appear there is any information left on the Palm Vx (have not used it for 10+ years), but I want to make sure it’s wiped clean so I can donate it.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

A hard reset will restart your Palm, but you will lose all your settings and data. To do this reset, hold the power button down while pressing in the reset button located on the back of your device with a paper clip. You will then be prompted to press the scroll up button

Thank you. I don't think there was any info left on the Palm - I did the reset as you suggested, but just got a message about not being able to sync with my PC. Didn't want to do that anyway, so guess I'm all set. Never got a prompt to scroll up - Can you do that on a Palm or was it meaning on my PC?

From what I found it should have prompted you on the Palm to scroll up, but they may have changed the software since the device came out. Glad you were able to make it work!
