earpiece not working after screen replacement

I replaced a 7 display with the whole assembly (only replaced the home button, the earpiece assy was installed on the part) and calls can not be heard via the earpiece, the other caller can not hear the talking, and speaker phone can’t be turned on. iOS is updated to the latest. What can I do?

That fault is caused by a weak connection between the audio chip and the logic board. A reputable local phone repair shop that does board repairs on iPhones will be able to fix this problem for you.

They will need to run jumper wires on the weak solder pads for the audio IC so that the problem does not reoccur after the fix.

Well it's classic audio IC fault anyway. Speakerphone greyed out.

Just swap the front camera flex that came with the new screen, with the original one.
