Headphones dont stay in headphone jack

when i plug my headphones into the jack it doesnt stay it will pop right back out. do i have to replace the headphone jack assembly in order to fix this?

Seems likely that the jack is faulty or jammed in some way preventing the nice positive "click in"

Have you tried a different set of headphones? IF so and same issue then that would confirm faulty jack in phone.
