Screen won't turn on

My buddy brought me a 2DS that his niece dropped twice and stopped turning on. I opened it and I don’t see anything broken.

When I turn it on the blue light comes on and stays there until you force shut it down. Can’t access recovery, no sound.

Is the screen broken?

Hi!

I think you screen is indeed broken if you can’t find any other obvious damage to the main board like missing capacitors (that might have come off when it fell). Try shining a flashlight onto the display, perhaps you can see the cracks in the screen and confirm this.

Anyway, changing the screen seems to be the solution here. You can get a new one here: https://amzn.to/2C8fWe1
