Help! I forgot where this piece came from
I took my camera apart and upon assembling everything, i stumble across a small metal piece which i have no recollection where it belongs. Any idea?

ive checked the entire internet before i made this post. if i can find answers, i wouldnt be here.
It looks like part of a battery terminal. Does the camera work without the part?
