Why is replacement screen color so blue?

The replacement screens (2 of them) I received work well, except that the color is different than the old screens. Every color is too blue. Is there something wrong with the product’s white balance? iOS 10.3.3 on iPhone 5 doesn’t have the option to adjust the color through the accessibilty settings, and the overly blue distortion is very disconcerting.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hello. This is because replacement screens always have different color than the original. It was the same on all of my siblings and moms screen replacements I did.

Ive heard ifixit screens are pretty good. Also,Etrade supply is supposed to be one of the best.

Usually 3rd party screens have a bluer tiny to them…they have screen bleeding…and they have distortion when pressed(more than the original).

my sister’s was an iPhone 5. The screen replacement is lower quality but was ok. Etrade supply is your best bet(I have never tried ifixit or Etrade…this is based on my many hours of general research).

replacement lcds are lower quality period. You can keep trying different sellers, but most will have the blue tint.

Let me know if you need anything else!
