Battery charges extremly long.

Hello folks,

my MacBook Pro Battery takes a long time to charge plus when my macbok is not connected to the charger it sometimes turns suddenly off, like it loses connection to the battery.

The Battery is already replaced and I did plenty of SMC and PRRAM resets.

About three months ago the logic board got replaced because of another issue…

I tried all tests with the ASD but the macbook passes everything apart from the internal 2D acceleration test.

I have a multimeter here, so I can measure the most important things, if I‘d know which…

Thanks a million in advance,

Phil

Did Apple do the board replacement? Was it warranty work?

by

Have you checked with CoconutBattery? Or also by option clicking the battery menubar item?

by

Yes it was a warranty replacement by apple. Unfortunately they don‘t want to repair it now, because it has some dents here and there, which is a bit weird because it had the same when I did the first repair.

Coconut Battery says the same and option clicking in the menubar says that the battery is fine.

It's time to go over the head of the local boys. If it's now out of warranty or even if it's still under warranty, contact Corporate Apple here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

Tell them the entire story and that you no longer want to do business with the local people. Apple traditionally has the best service people and support of any company in the world. Remind them that's that one of the main reason you switched to Apple. If it's now out of warranty, request a "warranty exception".
