Is this 3rd party battery out of spec for my iPod?

Most batteries I've seen is 3.7v. My new replacement 3000mah one says 3.8v. Is the increase of a tenth of a volt cause for concern? The battery says +LG 405570 3.8v 3000mah. It also doesn't match the text from the picture in the ebay auction which started with UK something.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

as long as it fits, it would be fine. Biggest issue here will be the charging time. The replacement battery you are referring to is a bit over 3 times as many mAh as the original. This is very difficult to achieve within the same size parameter. Make sure that these numbers a legit.

The voltage is fine and will not cause you any issue.

See if you can use the iOS option using Coconut Battery and get a better idea of what this battery is doing.

@ajcooke01v2 maybe you should have given partial credit to the person who gave you the idea to make the guides.
