I have a similar problem with my 5s. If you accidentally screwed the wrong size screws in it may have destroyed the logic board. Make sure all the connectors are in properly, and try reseating the battery connector.

  • Check for long screw damage
  • Check if it's recognised on iTunes or a charger (ie may be on but u have no display or no backlight)
  • Check for damage around the lcd connectors on the screen and the board
  • Check for damage on components around the screen connector on the board
  • Try the old screen
  • Try the old or new screen without plugging in the front camera flex or the home button flex to rule out one or the other
  • Shine a torch on the screen see if u can see a dim apple logo when the phone is starting up (blown backlight)

  • I assume u already tried restarting the phone ie disconnecting the battery or holding down the home and power buttons…
  • Lol should have a flow chart
