white screen, no response from reset.

I can see words, barely. My whole screen is white. I've tried holding the home button and the center button at the same time so it restarts, but the screen it still white!??....help.

Kelsea, at first you should of course make sure that your brightness is set properly. To adjust the brightness of an iPod's display, select Settings > Brightness and use the Click Wheel to move the slider. Move the slider to the left to dim the screen, move it to the right to increase the brightness. If that does not work there are a few more possibilities. One is that your display is shot and needs to be replaced iPod 5th Generation (Video) Display Replacement relatively simple, straight forward and not to expensive.
