Repair Damaged Connector 3 Socket

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help me i have a iphone 3gs but the Connector 3 socket (3GS Proximity Cable Connector for logic Board) one of the pins broke now i cannot hear anything from the top speaker. i know you can buy replacement but how do i replace it?

Tam, you have to desolder the connector with a fine-tipped soldering iron and a microscope or a magnifier. If you have no experience soldering small things, then this should be handled by someone more experienced. It is very easy to do damage to the board by burning and melting things, and a common thing is lifted solder pads. Once they lift and go missing, its very difficult to repair if able to at all. The parts are cheap but the labor is expensive due to the equipment used.
