Remove screw incorrectly inserted into DVI port hole

First I want to say that the ifixit instructions on replacing my early 2008 Macbook Pro's hard drive were a lifesaver. I misidentified my Mac model when I was ordering a replacement drive and thought the job was simple, when in fact it is a little dicey.

The instructions were perfect but I was a little rushed reassembling and totally goofed--I inserted one of the side screws not into its correct hole but into one of the two screw holes flanking the DVI port!

The screw is too small for that hole but its head is just big enough to resist coming out. So screwing it counterclockwise just causes it to spin. I tried a magnet but it wasn't powerful enough to pull it out. It's not a disaster as DVI cables can still hook up to it as long as you don't try to screw in that side. But I'd like to fix it. Any ideas?
