Data retrieval from broken S6 to working S6

I had my Samsung Galaxy S6 broken from throwing it at a wall which ruined the phone. I was wondering if it was possible to do something like remove the motherboard from the broken S6 to my friends old S6 he has laying around to transfer all of the memory. Is this possible? Please help, Thanks!

Yes, provided they are both the same model e.g SM-G920F to SM-G920F.

Follow this guide on how to take out the logic board on a S6:

Samsung Galaxy S6 Motherboard Replacement

Note that doing this may leave a bit of paint chip marks on the back glass when opening up the phone. Worst case scenario a bit of paint may chip from the front glass too when separating screen from it’s midframe.

Edit: It doesn’t necessarily need to be the same model but it’s better to have same model as it will not seat into the screen frame fully at the top left if the model is a mismatch.
