PS3 Controller keeps turning itself off please HELP

Hello,

My ps3 controller which i bought in may of this year and just recently started using keeps turning itself off when left IDLE. It turns itself off every 5 minutes and i have gone to power settings to turn off any settings that may automatically turn off the controller

I tried pressing the small reset button but it doesn’t do anything

I tried pressing the reset button while controller is on and anytime i press the rest button it basically turns off the controller

i tried pressing the reset button the while controller was plugged in and when i press the reset button all lights disappear and the moment i let go off the reset button all lights come right back on and pressing the PS home button reconnects it to the system

what’s weird is i read that pressing the reset button should not sync the controller to the system unless it’s connected with the cable but when i press the reset button and without even connecting to system cable it still connects with the system without needing any sort of re syncing

It only turns itself off when left idle if it’s in constant used than it stays on
