LCD Display Door Won't Work!

Hi,

A few months back my Nikon COOLPIX B700 camera had been perfectly fine. Everything was in check! The LCD display door (in which is flexible) worked perfectly… but it isn’t now.

I worried if it got wet. So, carefully placing it on a bookshelf with its door open, I allowed the Nikon to dry for a few days. It started working again! And then… it glitched and worked on and off. Letting it rest on occasion, I swindled my ways into making it do.

Now… it doesn’t work at all. This only started happening when I set the camera to “SCENE” fiddling with different settings. Now the door doesn’t work and I can only use the view finder. I take pride in my photography and I feel as though I did something wrong to cause this issue. Has anybody been in this situation before?? If so, please help!

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Kaitlyn @ Eilenz
