SP-700 Lens Cover Does NOT Close

Hi,

This camera works in playback MODE, But, when powered ON it flashes with ZOOM ERROR and shuts down in camera mode. How can I tear down/remove the camera for inspection? Your answer is much appreciated. Lens Cover OPEN ALL THE TIME.
