What's wrong with my display?

I bought a used Macbook Air earlier this year. When I first got it, the screen would sometimes glitch, which was no big deal. But over time, the started to display fade out to blue with vertical lines and I couldn’t see the display. Now, the only way to properly see the display is to hold or twist the screen a certain way or put pressure on the back lid. Sometimes (rarely) I don’t have to manipulate the screen and the laptop works fine. Could this be a connector issue?

If you have to move the screen for it to display properly then the LVDS cable is probably damaged.

Probably the lvds cables are not in a good condition or may be the connection to the cables are loose

Make sure the cable connections are proper.

If still you are facing the issue you have to order a new LVD cable and fix it.
